DGAP-News: Home24 AG / Key word(s): Change of Personnel Home24 AG appoints Johannes Schaback to the Management Board as Chief Technology Officer Berlin, 28 March 2018 - Home24 AG (jointly with its consolidated subsidiaries "home24"), the leading home & living pure-play e-commerce platform in continental Europe and Brazil, has appointed IT expert Johannes Schaback to the Management Board as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this newly created position, Schaback will push home24's continued development as a leading technology company in the home & living sector. Johannes Schaback is founder and Managing Partner of Visual Meta GmbH (operator of websites such as Ladenzeile.de) - a meta search platform founded in 2009 with 250 employees, now active in 14 countries. In 2011, Axel Springer Group acquired a majority share in the company. Most recently, Schaback managed Axel Springer's technology and product team with approximately 60 employees. Prior to founding Visual Meta, he worked for the Fraunhofer Institute in the field of software technology and machine learning and as a developer for Rocket Internet. Schaback starts in his new position on 1 April 2018 and will strengthen the present management team of Home24 AG, which consists of Marc Appelhoff, Christoph Cordes and Dr Philipp Kreibohm.
